Mandibular Right Lingual

There are four different techniques to work on the mandibular right lingual using direct vision from the 1 o'clock position. Ask the patient to turn the head towards the right a bit.

1. Use the ErgoFinger® to retract the tongue while the third and fourth fingers and the pinky are resting on the lower jaw to support a relaxed and effortless posture.

2. Use the ErgoFinger® to retract the tongue while the third finger retracts the cheek for better visibility

3. Use the mirror to retract the tongue. Place the mirror first and grab onto it to assist in retracting with ErgoFinger®.

4. Use a cotton roll to retract the tongue. Set a cotton roll to the side of the tongue and then place the ErgoFinger's nozzle onto the cotton roll and press gently to create space.
