Maxillary Right Lingual

There are four different techniques to work on the right lingual:


1. Work using direct vision from the 1 o'clock position. Have the patient turn the head towards the right. The third and fourth fingers and the pinky are resting on the lower jaw to support a relaxed and effortless posture.

2. Work using direct vision from the 1 o'clock position. Have the patient turn the head towards the right. Use the third finger to retract the left cheek to increase visibility.

3. Work using direct vision from the 11 o'clock position. Have the patient turn the head towards the right. The third and fourth fingers and the pinky are resting on the chin to support a relaxed and effortless posture.


4. Work using indirect vision from the 11 o'clock position. First, place the ErgoFinger®; secondly, add the mirror to the same hand.


Tip:

Rubbing a small amount of prophy paste into the mirror will keep it clean and enhance visibility!
